The role of chlorinated polyethylene in medicine

Date:Oct 5,2019

Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) is a high molecular material prepared by chlorination substitution reaction of high density polyethylene (HDPE). Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) is a plump macromolecule material with white powder appearance, non-toxic and tasteless. It has excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, chemical resistance and aging resistance. It has excellent oil resistance, flame retardancy and colouring function. Excellent resistance (still flexible at – 30 C), excellent compatibility with other polymer materials, high decomposition temperature. According to different structures and uses, chlorinated polyethylene can be divided into resin chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) and elastomeric chlorinated polyethylene (CM). Because polymer compounds should not have medicinal value, the human body and animals, plants can not absorb.
